Kernow a’gas dynnergh

A Cornish hello, as on Wednesday Gavin travelled about 700 miles to Cornwall to go visit a couple of our stockists and find a few more. His first visit was to Trevathan Farm where he stumbled upon (he was running late and got the wrong building) Honor, who was almost done making the entire year’s supply of jams and jellies. After that, he headed to none other than Rick Stein’s Deli in Padstow where he quickly said his hellos before sampling the famous haddock and chips.

Lobbs Farm was next. They set up shop there after the crowds kept coming to see Lost Garden of Heligan. An untouched beauty where somehow they manage to grow pineapples. We’d like to see how they bake…

Finishing off in Kingsley Village with a bag of pork crackling, Gavin felt rather tired, unhealthy and ready for some sleep, fruit and exercise. He’s not the most healthy of the BEAR team; one of those skinny on the outside but probably fat on the inside types. Give us time, we’ll sort him out…

I have one request ,please ask the Co-op in Hayle to up their stock levels ,they always run out of the Pineapple.
