Hayley’s been busy in the cave kitchen (imagine more stainless steel and fewer cobwebs). Her latest creation is Tropical Crunch, mixing coconut with pineapple pieces that smells damn fine when you open the bag. Really really good. We sent some to a friend who calls herself Cinabar and writes about snack food almost every day on her blog. Here’s what she thought.

I have just tried your baked fruit nibbles (Mango and Pineapple) for the first time today, as I am always on the lookout for low fat snacks for myself and healthy ones for my kids. I just wanted to let you know how delicious I thought they were and that they also stopped me feeling hungry.
I also love your “Yo Yos” as an alternative to eating sweets as they contain no sugar.
Thanks for the thanks Sylvia, we’re so happy you love our nibbles. One thing we’ll never do is add sugar to any of our nibbles. They do contain sugar though, although only those which naturally occur in the fruits we use. The only ingredients we ever use in any of them is either fruit, or wholegrain, nothing else. Even the granola clusters we bind together using fruit extracts (apple grape and carob extract). Look out for some new yoyos in the Summer too, we think you’ll like them…
